January 2001 Hi-Yen Trading International Ltd. has expanded its activities by teaming up with UTK Systems of Japan, a leading supplier of equipment for oxide & crystal wafer production as well as glass disk (HD) production. Flat panel display (FPD/LCD) production machines and consumable parts for wafer & glass disk production complete UTK's broad product spectrum. In order to integrate UTK's products in Hi-Yen's current product spectrum, which is mainly focused on semiconductor and smart card production, and to give it the attention it deserves, Hi-Yen has established a new sales department, dedicated to wafer & glass disk production. This new sales department will be managed by Mr. Philip Chen, a long-term resident active in the wafer & glass disk production field with many years of experience in related process equipment. Together with UTK System Hi-Yen Trading International Ltd. is prepared to take a major stake regarding capital equipment in these important and growing industries. |
